More important than winning is learning to lose.

By losing we struggle through changes.

By losing we learn to be more open minded.

By losing I dial in the details.

By losing it makes winning that much sweeter.

I promise I was really good at losing before I won anything. I watch those I admire like a hawk. I’m not scared to make changes in an ever growing industry. Step outside of your comfort zone and know, we ALL started from the bottom.

Let them be horses.

Turn them out, let them run.
Let them buck, let them leap, rather in the field than the arena, right?

Give them a herd, even a herd of two.
Let them be with other horses, what’s a life without friends?

Give them downtime, not just days off riding, but days to enjoy life.
Happy horses are trainable horses.

Take the rug off, let them feel the sun.
Let them roll in the mud, a little dirt never hurt anyone.

Escape the arena and explore, don’t stick to the well worn path.
The most beautiful places are usually found by accident.

Showing them how much you love them doesn’t have to come from buying expensive things.

You can buy every rug, all the boots, the best tack, wash them, groom them, feed them, put them in the best yard, with the best facilities and wrap them up in cotton wool, but one day you’ll realise the best thing you could possibly do...

.. is just let them be horses.

We were lucky enough to have Dr. Maloufi take time to teach everyone about horse care and dental work yesterday! Thank you Dr. Maloufi

Yesterday we were at a call and they had a summer camp full of children learning about horses. Dr Maloufi was able to show them some of his dentistry work and the kids had some great questions for him.

Lots of first dressage tests yesterday and smiles by everyone! Was such a fun day thank you so much to everyone who helped keep it running smooth, Cheryl and Darrell for letting us use their awesome dressage ring as well as helping set it up during this heat wave! Also a big thank you to Burgi Rommel for judging and giving everyone great feedback. As well as Windsor Stables for letting us have the show! Last but not least a thank you to Priority1Media for the photos.
