The semester is getting busier, so don’t forget to take a break! Check out some upcoming club and society events, try something new, and spend some time doing something you enjoy with the campus community.

Meet the UPEI Black Student Society! UPEI Black Student Society

The UPEI Black Student Society (BSS) is a student-led organization that celebrates Black culture, builds community, and advocates for the social and academic well-being of black students at UPEI. We create spaces for connection, education, leadership, and cultural expression through events, programming, and community initiatives. Students should join the UPEI Black Student Society to connect with other Black students, build community, celebrate Black culture, and create meaningful experiences on campus. It’s also a space to meet new people, get involved, develop leadership skills, and have your voice heard.

The UPEI Black Student Society hosts a variety of social, cultural, and educational activities that bring Black students together and celebrate Black culture. Our programming includes cultural events, community gatherings, workshops, guest speakers, networking opportunities, and advocacy initiatives throughout the academic year.

You can join the UPEI Black Student Society by attending our events, following our social media, or, more importantly, signing up with the link on our social media. Everyone is welcome to get involved!

The UPEI Black Student Society is more than just a club; it’s a space to connect, celebrate, and build community. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, get involved on campus, or simply find a sense of belonging, there’s always a place for you in BSS!

Calling all Clubs and Societies Executives!

The first Clubs and Societies Orientation & Executive Training will be happening at MCDH 243 on Friday, 25 September, 6:00 p.m.!

Attendance is required for at least two representatives from each club. This event covers a variety of topics related to club maintenance. For example: upcoming events, important updates from the Students’ Union, the support and resources available to you, and the fundamental responsibilities involved in maintaining an active and successful club.

Committee meetings also provide a forum for members to share initiatives, suggestions, and concerns related to clubs and societies. While a hybrid option will be available, we strongly encourage in-person attendance to meet the executive team and connect one-on-one with other clubs.

The Club Hub 26/27 is available to all club and society members. It provides access to essential documents, commonly used forms, and other resources required for the day-to-day management of a club or society.

Now, all the resources provided by the Student Union to support the administrative processes of clubs and societies are available in one space.
