The Grade 6 leadership group would like to invite you to a chocolate bar bingo on June 11, 2026. The doors will open at 6:00 PM, and bingo will begin at 6:30 PM. Admission is $5.00 per person, with a maximum of $20.00 per family. This community event brings friends and family together for a fun evening of bingo and chocolate! It is important to note that an adult must accompany the participating child/children. Bingo players are also asked to bring regular-sized peanut/Nut-free chocolate bars in exchange for your bingo cards. Each chocolate bar gets you one set of bingo cards, with a maximum of four sets per person. There will also be a canteen service available for snacks and bingo dabbers. All proceeds will go towards year-end expenses for our grade six students. Our last event was highly successful. Ticket order forms will be sent home with your child on Friday, June 5. We appreciate your support!

We’re very proud of you, Elliot!
Elliott MacDonald, a Grade 6 student at Sherwood Elementary School, won the City of Charlottetown Prize at the 2026 Provincial Heritage Fair!
The City of Charlottetown Prize is awarded annually to a student who exhibits an outstanding project on Charlottetown’s heritage.
Elliot won the prize for his project entitled L'histoire des arénas à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard (The history of Arenas in Prince Edward Island). The project explored the history of the Charlottetown Forum and the Sherwood Sportsplex (Cody Banks Arena) and the various hockey teams that played there.

The Bike Bus is now rolling in Sherwood! 🚴♀️
More than 40 kids and parent volunteers joined the ride this morning. It was all smiles, lots of energy, and packed school bike racks. Thanks to everyone who came out!
