We’ve had quite the exciting weekend, with a film crew visiting this past Saturday. Starting with a backstory interview at my studio, then a walk at the beach nearby, followed by a visit at our friends’ in Big Hill. Can’t wait to see the finished episode when it airs next fall! Thank you to the whole crew for a well-run day, and to Linda and Terry for joining us. And for throwing a bowl, linda wright 💙

Great timing! I had just finished working on this pattern when I saw Golden Coil’s call for submissions for their 2026 Limited Edition Design Contest. A playful take on wildflowers, inspired by the colours around me here on Cape Breton Island.

If you’re coming to Nova Scotia for the very first time, chances are you’re going to visit Peggy’s Cove. It’s just so iconic. So when Holy Mackerel reached out asking for some custom items depicting the lighthouse, I jumped at the chance. Now a small piece of it travels home with you, whether as a postcard, pin, magnet or sticker. By now these are probably scattered across a lot of fridges, mailboxes and water bottles, in places I’ll never know about.
