We’re down at the Camrose Cruisers Show & Shine selling tickets on this adorable mini sports car and 50/50 tickets in support of Doerksen Taekwondo!
If you’re heading downtown to admire the classic cars, be sure to stop by and say hello. You might just leave with a new set of wheels… even if they’re a little smaller than the ones on Main Street. 😄
📍 Show & Shine: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Cruise: 5:00 PM
Thanks for supporting our club. We can’t wait to see everyone out enjoying some fantastic classic cars and trucks and having a great day. ☀️

The ICTF of Alberta Spring Classic is officially underway! 👊
We are proud to be hosting this incredible event in Camrose at the Community Centre. And despite the wild Alberta weather this weekend, clubs from across Alberta and Saskatchewan showed up. That is what perseverance looks like. 💪
If you have never experienced Taekwon-Do before, this is your sign - come check it out!
From powerful patterns to fast-paced sparring, there is no shortage of talent on the floor today. So many dedicated martial artists all in one place, bringing their skill, discipline, and spirit.
A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped transform the venue and keep everything running smoothly - we could not do this without you.
It is going to be an incredible day of competition, respect, and indomitable spirit. 🥋

Our Doerksen Taekwon-Do group at last weekend’s tournament in Biggar. Proud of our students, they all did very well, and it was Heathers first tournament!
Travel was a bit tricky with the road conditions, but that is perseverance in action! 👊 Huge thank you to the organizers and volunteers! It is always nice to see our friends from Saskatchewan.
More photos and videos to follow - Ms. White had some photo storage hiccups, but thanks to GM she now has a better system and will finally be catching up on the backlog.
And make sure you mark your calendars and register if you haven’t already!!! April 25 is coming fast and the ICTF of Alberta Spring Classic will be here before you know it. We cannot wait to see the many talented martial artists in action! ✨🥋

Senior belt class last night focused on patterns.
Everything in a pattern is set: the ready position, the number and order of techniques, left or right, the height of each movement, the stance, the speed, and even which direction to turn and how to turn.
Taekwondo patterns can be very impressive to watch, but it is not always obvious how much precision and practice go into each movement.
Learning patterns and performing them well takes focus, memorization, discipline, time, and repetition. Students practice again and again, refining the small details that make each movement stronger and more precise.
These are all excellent skills for students to develop, both inside the dojang and outside of it. 👊

Western Canada ICTF Group Training Day
Some of our students travelled to Blackfalds yesterday to attend group training hosted by Lionheart Martial Arts.
It was a great day of training with our taekwondo family. We learned, we kicked, and we had fun.
Thank you to Mr. Leonhardt and his club for hosting. 👊
