Well, its been a little bit since we've had a Guitars For Kids-WATERLOO Region story so buckle in:)

A couple months ago an old friend from highschool and Port Dover reached out to me. I hadn't seen Jim Emmons in likely 40 years. Jim's been following what we do at Guitars For Kids as he himself is a musician and he likes our little operation here.

Last year, Jim's neighbour passed away unfortunately. His neighbour was a guitar player and somewhat of a luthier and Jim became the recipient of a rather cool guitar collection as well as a big box full of parts and another full of necks and bodies. Jim's a drummer:) But he plays guitar as well. And it turns out this collection was way more than he would ever need or use.

He immediately thought of Guitars For Kids-WATERLOO Region. And of course, like an idiot, I had forgotten about our initial conversation and Jim gently reminded me on Monday.

So today, Jim drove down from London and donated the entire collection, And we're damn grateful for Jim facilitating this on behalf of his neighbour.

And of course, again like an idiot, I forgot to get a picture.

But on behalf of Guitars For Kids-WATERLOO Region, I thank you Jim:)
