Burton Elementary School

Good day Burton families, over the weekend our little school had several individuals come on our property and cause significant damage to our soccer nets and our premises. The images/videos of these individuals have been forwarded to the RCMP and a member was on site today.
Right now there is a significant amount of glass that we are working to clean up. We would ask that families avoid the school property until we can be certain that none remains.
We know how much pride this community has in its school and we ask that anyone with information about these events to please contact the Oromocto RCMP.

Sending a HUGE Thank you to our PSSC members who spent the morning bringing a splash of colour to our playground! The new hopscotch, 4 Corners, and rainbow 🌈 walkway look amazing! (Numbers to be added a little later once the paint is set.) 💛⭐️ Come out and enjoy our beautiful playground this summer!

These sunglasses and ball cap were found on our playground. We would love to return them to their owner. They appear adult sized. Please contact the office to arrange for pick up.

Today we celebrated our Grade 2’s ⭐️! We hope they know that no matter where they go or how old they get, they will always be a Burton Star🌟.

Today our STARS ⭐️ enjoyed one of our favourite annual field trips- to Anniversary Park Splash pad in Oromocto! They laughed, splashed and had so much fun at the water park and the playground!

🤩 Tomorrow we will hold our Grade 2 Advancement ceremony and enjoy “bring a toy to school day”.

Wow, what a day for our STARS ⭐️! We enjoyed fabulous presentations from World’s UNBound and learned about civil engineering, chemistry, AI & coding! Our water day events made a big SPLASH 💦 and our Family BBQ Picnic was amazing! Thank you to all families for attending and to Mr.Lowe & Torryn’s Mom and Dad for their BBQ support!
Thanks to the support of the Burton School Bottle Fund these wonderful events were at no cost to our families.💛🎉
