To those of you who voted NO, we can't thank you enough for coming together with us and standing up for the values that make SFU such an amazing place.
Thank you to the strong coalition of professors and students who worked so hard to defeat BDS!
To those of you who campaigned on the "yes" side or voted yes, we extend our hand. Our political disagreements should not prevent us from working to make our campus a better place for all students, and doing what we can to make life better for Israelis and Palestinians.
We wish everyone a wonderful summer!

Academic boycotts target ALL Israeli professors regardless of political position, effectively punishing even the most progressive of individuals. Boycotts of this kind serve only to create barriers between people and make peace harder to achieve.

If the boycott applies only to Israeli Jews, then something is really wrong
If universities are willing to fight the (U.S) government’s travel ban against students from Muslim-majority countries, why are members of their faculties fighting to prevent exchange with academic counterparts in Israel?
