Welcome! My name is Kat, and I offer online tutoring for English at a grade 6-10 level, ESL students, OR for anyone that needs to brush up on their English language skills.
Learning Materials Include: Essay writing, reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, punctuation, as well as tips on how to effectively study and absorb information more efficiently.
Objective: We will immediately begin by having a complimentary consultation over Zoom, where I devise a lesson plan catered specially to the individual. There is no such thing as a "one size fits all" when it comes to learning. Parents are encouraged to attend the consultation with their child, as I will be answering any questions that might come up. At the end, if we all agree on the lesson plan created with a clear goal in mind, we can proceed to lessons. Lessons are 1 hour long, but the dates and times are negotiable.
Cost: Currently, I will be charging at below the average market rate.
A little bit about me: I graduated high school in 2015 with a private school education. Having been successful in my English courses throughout the earlier years (grade A), I would like to give back to the community by helping out anyone who is struggling. In the modern day and age, there is a lot of distraction with technology being all around us. So many things are competing for our attention at once, that it is no wonder young people today are struggling.
