It’s the final day of National Drowning Prevention Week and we are showing off the 5 mandatory items needed on boats.

National Drowning Prevention Week is in full swing. We are working tirelessly to remind you be prepared when hitting the beach this summer. Wear your Lifejacket/PFD boating, kayaking, paddle boarding on the lakes or ocean. Conditions can change in an instant. Have a signalling device such as a whistle available to call for help.

During this National Drowning Prevention Week we challenge Lifesaving Society AB/NWT Lifesaving Society Nova Scotia Lifesaving Society Ontario Lifesaving Society Manitoba Lifesaving Society Sk Lifesaving Society NB to see how many PFDs they can wear!
