I’ve realized a lot of people aren’t aware that I sang in choir for YEARS and a lot of my knowledge and understand of the voice comes from being part of from 2013-16!

Does this resonate with anyone? Choice PARALYSIS can often be associate with ADHD. I’ve been overwhelmed with what to do NEXT for a while. When you decide to make a change, it can feel difficult to know what to change TO! I know what I want to let go of, but what I go towards?
Now that I’m clear how much future is going to feel, I can concentrate on what the concrete steps are going to be. And honestly, honing in on just one thing is tough.
Yes, me too, I want to feel healthy and fit. Okay I could do yoga, running, rock climbing, weightlifting, smoothie making, food whatever mapping and cold showers. GAH! That sounds like a lot! And I could genuinely get excited about all of them and dive right in, but I know better now that it wouldn’t be sustainable. It wouldn’t actually motivate me once things got hard.
So what do I do? Well, the other day I was thinking about this and it hit me. Wasn’t this what I wanted? No really, this is what I had MANIFESTED months ago. What did I repeat over and over in my head over the summer - a mantra of ABUNDANCE. I almost laughed out loud because it felt like I brought it on myself. The universe gave me what I wanted. A million things to choose from - isn’t that what abundance is?
And to release myself from the choice I did one single trick.
I reminded myself I also had the choice to do nothing.
Of course I did! I didn’t HAVE to do anything, that’s what made it a choice. So instead of trying to fit everything in, I’ll be making my choices with the attitude like they are a spread on a beautiful charcuterie board. Maybe I’ll try cold showers, maybe I’ll try that Zumba class, just once to see if I’ll like it.
The trick for right now is to get unstuck, and when I get a sense of what I really am vibing with, I’ll work on diving in one thing at a time.

Hey all! It’s been a while! Still on this journey of self-improvement, continuing on when to STOP trying to improve and remember to rest!
Rest is such an important part of our lives, and can have many different forms! My forms of rest include: sleep (one of the more obvious forms), cooking a healthy meal, getting out in nature, and seeing some friends!

Do you like spreadsheets? Well I do! Making a spreadsheet of all my finances makes me feel better about how I plan to live within my means AND save money! A lot of my numbers are rough estimates, but if I over estimate my spending and under estimate my earnings, I know I’ll still be in the green! Don’t like spreadsheets or don’t know how to use them? Sometimes being organized isn’t what you think it’ll be. Sometimes being on top of things means actually cooking dinner at all instead of lying on the couch and eating ice cream, even though it’s already 8PM!

Whenever I spend the time planning out my outfits for the week I feel THAT much more prepared to take on what’s ahead! I use this little rack in the corner of my room to hang up anything I’ve already worn as well to keep clothes off the bed and floor. Does it work ALL the time? Of course not! But it’s just one more thing that helps keep me motivated to stay clean and tidy!

Some days you just gotta escape with your bestie to a cute coffee shop to set your weekly goals ❤️🔥
I call this “coffee shop time” and I try to make it part of my weekend routine! Maybe next weekend I’ll go on Instagram live and we can plan together! How about Sunday 4pm? I’ll write it in my planner!
