With heavy hearts, we want to express our condolences to the family and friends of former Woodland student and alumnus Billy Parker (Class of 2016). May God grant peace and strength to those who knew and loved Billy. He had an infectious smile and a kind heart. He will be fondly remembered by staff and former schoolmates.

Are you heading into Grade 7 or 8, a current Woodland student, or an alum who loves soccer? We'd love to have you join us for an afternoon of skill development, friendly competition, and fun as we get ready for another exciting soccer season.

The camp takes place on Friday, August 21, from 2:00–4:30 PM at Woodland. Please bring your cleats, shin pads, water, and a snack.

Join us August 24–28 for a week of high-energy training, skill development, and gameplay with an experienced coaching staff. The camp is open to students entering Grades 8–12, and non-Woodland students are welcome.

An incredible time of ministry in Brazil came to a meaningful close. During the final chapel of English Camp, six campers made the decision to follow Jesus, a powerful reminder of why the team came to serve. After spending the week leading activities, sharing their testimonies, and pointing campers to Christ, the students took time to reflect on all that God had done in and through them. As they begin the journey home, please continue to pray that the lives touched during this time will continue to grow in faith and that the lessons learned will have a lasting impact on our students as well.

The Woodland Christian High School team continues to make the most of every opportunity in Brazil!

Students spent time serving alongside the Word of Life staff as they prepared for English Camp, setting up activities, decorating, organizing spaces, and getting everything ready to welcome campers. They also enjoyed a day experiencing Brazilian culture, including white-water rafting, exploring the beautiful town of Gramado, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. As they enter the final days of the trip, the team is excited to build new friendships, practice English with local students, and, most importantly, share the hope of Jesus.

Thank you for continuing to pray for open hearts, meaningful conversations, and for God to work through our students!

Canada Day looked a little different for Woodland’s Brazil team this year!

The team celebrated with their Brazilian hosts before welcoming nearly 200 campers for the final day of camp. Throughout the day, students built relationships, shared their faith, and encouraged campers with the hope found in Jesus. Several campers made decisions to follow Christ, with Woodland students having the privilege of praying with them.

The day wrapped up with worship in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, lots of laughter, and a team that’s growing closer every day.

As they prepare for English Camp this weekend, please continue to pray for the campers, the team, and all that God is doing through this trip.
