What a fun filled week at our “Mini Kids Camp!” Here’s a quick look at what the campers at Rick’s Yurt got up to 😄
This week’s highlights included dance parties, salamander discovering, arts and crafts, homemade playdough and oobleck, volcanoes, treasure hunts and lots of mud! 🦎🔥🪵🎨🌋
The summer may slowly be coming to an end but the fun is just beginning here at Ebb and Flow summer camps, we can’t wait to see what next week brings!

Nurture your child's connection with nature.
We just finished our Survival Trailblazers week, and it was a blast! Together, we set up a tent, practiced carving, did a ton of fire starting, practiced first aid, and made lots of goodies. This week was also a super crafty one, from making rainbow loom bracelets to paper purses. This was a perfect week for lots of free play and exploration at forest camp!
A recap of Animal Encounter Week with our Survivor campers!
What an amazing exciting week! Our campers kicked the week off with some very special animal friends getting up close, learning all about them, and even getting to give some of them a gentle pet!
The adventures didn’t stop there! The rest of the week was filled with forest exploring, creative crafts, fort building, outdoor games, and lots of imagination. 🌿🎨
From meeting new furry friends to making memories in the forest, it was a week full of curiosity, creativity, and plenty of fun!
What a wild week we had for our Animal Encounters Camp! Each day brought a new animal adventure as we travelled from the farm, to the jungle, to the forest, and finally to the ocean.
We met some amazing farm animals, discovered LOTS of frogs, played games, made all kinds of animal inspired crafts, and even built a bug hotel that future campers at Ebb and Flow can continue to enjoy.
But the best part? Watching friendships grow. Campers encouraged each other, explored together, got messy, tried new things, and built a little more confidence and resilience along the way.
And then came our final day… It was a wet and rainy one! But a little rain wasn’t going to stop us. We embraced the weather, kept playing, and made the most of our last day together.
Luckily, the rain finally let up just in time for roasted marshmallows around the fire.
A week full of animals, adventure, muddy clothes, new friendships, and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.
On Friday, we concluded “Arts Adventure” week at Ebb and Flow! Through painting, sculpting, and collaborative outdoor crafts, the group poured incredible imagination and focus into every single activity. Everyone headed home with custom handmade creations, artistic confidence, and a deeper connection to nature.
What a week! 🌿☀️ Our Mini Kids campers were busy crafting, exploring, playing, laughing, and making new friends every single day! From muddy adventures to nature discoveries and creative masterpieces, this week was packed with smiles, imagination, and unforgettable memories!💚🌼🍄🦋
That’s a wrap on “Survival Skills” week at Ebb & Flow! 🔥Our Survivor yurt learned essential outdoor skills like fire starting, knife safety, campfire cooking, and beyond. There was a great deal of bravery and focus, and we left feeling a sense of confidence and connection with nature!
That’s a wrap on our “Basic Survival Week” camp at Rick’s Yurt! ⛺️ 🔥
This week campers accomplished a great amount of adventures and skills such as waterproof shelter building and flint and steel practice! Campers gained resilience and determination while working as a team in various activities.
Of course we finished our week off with yummy snacks on the fire while simultaneously learning about the safety protocols when cooking on a fire 🍿🌭
A few photos from “Mini Beasts” week at the Survivor Yurt! We wrapped up our week of Mini Beast adventures: hunting for nature’s smallest creatures, exploring the forest floor, and building confidence in nature!
This week our campers at Rick’s Yurt jumped right into the theme of “Mini Beasts”! 🐛🪱🦋 Despite the early end from the poor air quality, we made the best of it 💨
From searching for mini beasts, creating an abundance of crafts, to forming new friendships these campers experienced it all. We learnt how to care for and carefully observe the minis beasts that roam our beautiful forest 🌳 We look forward to another amazing week ahead! ☀️
