Week 3 of books by Black authors for Black History Month. This week we have Dominion by Addie E. Citchens. “The sin of a favorite son rock a small Mississippi town in this taut Southern family drama.”

It’s Neal Cross Lecture Series Time 🗣️🎉 next Thursday, February 19th, we have Dr. Abram Anders from Iowa State University coming to talk to Bears about the way AI impacts writing 🤔🤖 don’t miss it!

Black History Month Week 2! This week’s recommendation is Lonely Crowds by Stephanie Wambugu—an intense novel set in the NYC 90s art scene about a “decades-long friendship [that] interrogates the nature of intimacy, desire, class and time.”

Celebrate Black History Month by diving into some great new novels by Black authors. Week 1 we are showcasing “Good Dirt” by Charmaine Wilkerson, a “multigenerational epic that examines how the past informs our present.”
