Today we made coffee playdough. ☕ It was so easy I just made a few changes to our no cook recipe.

No cook coffee playdough

* 1.5 cups flour
* 1/2 used coffee grounds
* 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 2 tablespoons cream of tarter
* 1/2 cup salt
* 1 cup hot coffee

I use my kitchen aid mixer but you can mix it in a bowl as well.

In a bowl mix the flour, salt, ground coffee, oil and cream of tarter. Gently stir it to mix it a bit.

Slowly add the hot coffee to the mix as you stir. Adding more or less of it until it's the consistently you like. It's ready to be play with once cool.

To make more of a mud look or you can change the amount of flour to 1 cup and used coffee grounds to a cup as well. Smells so good and soft to the touch. When stored in an air tight container the play dough should last for up to 6 months.

This week we read the book Playing with paper lanterns.

Our friends then decorated their own lantern.

A and A used paint while Little A, M and J used markers.
