Year two of our Faith Plan encourages our St. Michael’s community to Love God. What does that mean? Take a look at these heart-warming ideas!

Having a division-wide faith plan and permeation of faith throughout all subjects means that we make decisions with a spiritual lens as well as an academic and emotional lens.

If you’re not sure if Catholic school fits, don’t hesitate to pop in for a visit and chat. The unknown is always more uncomfortable than reality, and most people agree that we are more alike than different.

🎉 Way to go, Bears! 🏅

Congratulations to all of our amazing St. Michael’s School students and alumni who participated, competed, and volunteered in the Southern Alberta Summer Games hosted right here in Bow Island!

Having our hometown host the games was special, but seeing our students & alumni shine made it unforgettable. Whether they were pushing for the podium or giving their time to make the event run smoothly, our students represented our school and community with pride, sportsmanship, and heart.

Our community took on a massive variety of events, bringing home plenty of memories (and medals!):

- On the court & sand: Badminton & Beach Volleyball 🏸🏐
- In the field & course: Track & Field, Baseball, & Golf 🏃‍♂️⚾️⛳️
- In the rink: Ball Hockey 🏒
- Behind the lens: Photography 📸..and so much more!

To our athletes, your hard work and dedication paid off. To our volunteers, young and old, thank you for your selflessness and for being the friendly faces that made these games such a success.

What a beautiful way to celebrate the many accomplishments, talents, and memories made this year at our annual St. Michael’s School Awards Day on June 25!

In a special full-circle moment, our Grade 9 graduates proudly welcomed and walked our newest Kindergarten “graduates” down the hall to begin the ceremony — a wonderful reminder of the connections and community that make our K–9 school so special.

With our hallways and gym filled with family, friends, staff, and supporters, we celebrated the hard work, growth, leadership, kindness, and achievements of our students.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients, and to every student who made this school year one to remember. We are so proud of you! 🤍💙
