I can get caught up in the weeds of the present, and life in general is not easy. But when I think of my kids, I think of these days as ones I will look back on when I’m 80 (God willing I live that long!). What I love the most about teaching is drawing out the musician in each person.
When they discover that singing is within their capability, or that piano is actually fun!
It is work but also play, and the end product is beautiful sounds.

Practicing with kids at home…😂 their interjections help me not take things too seriously. Cleaning up the tied notes and still learning the second part, but it’s coming along!

Neil playing Mom’s Sweet Answer!
