We would like to take a moment to celebrate two educators as they reach important milestones in their careers.

We were fortunate to have Stormy complete her education while working at Morning Star. As she moves on from our centre, we thank her for her contributions and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors.

We would also like to welcome Hailey to our team. After recently completing her Early Childhood Education program at Assiniboine College, she joins us with enthusiasm and a passion for working with children and families. We are excited to have her as part of the Morning Star team.

As we celebrate Early Childhood Educators Week I would like to take time to say thank you.

To our team at Morning Star Daycare Inc, you show up every day ready to care, guide, redirect, encourage, and sometimes just sit on the floor and be exactly what a child needs in that moment. That work isn’t easy, and it often goes unseen, but it matters more than words can capture.

You are the calm in hard moments, the excitement in new discoveries, and the steady presence children count on. The relationships you build are the heart of our centre.

I am grateful for each of you and the way you make Morning Star what it is.

Happy ECE Week 💕

📣 We need your help — and we need it ASAP! 📣

To expand Morning Star Daycare, we must show the government the true demand for childcare in our area — and waitlists are the proof.

Many families don’t add their names because they assume spaces won’t open, worry about losing care, or already have care elsewhere.

👉 If your child currently attends another daycare or you’re planning to have a child in the next few years, please email us to join the waitlist. Every name counts — for now and the future!

📧 [email protected]

⏰ Please do this as soon as possible — this info is crucial for upcoming expansion discussions.

💛 Share this post and help show decision-makers our community urgently needs a bigger, better daycare!
