This summer, my calendar looks a little different, so I'm embracing small creative moments whenever I can.

This beautiful bouquet became the inspiration for a little watercolour study in my art journal💐

It's amazing how a little floral practice in an art journal can go such a long way. Slowing down to really observe colour, shape, light and shadow reminds me that every little bit of practice finds its way into the next piece.

Lately, I've been making whenever I get the chance - painting, beading, sketching… Creativity doesn't always need a big block of time; sometimes it's found in those small moments we make for ourselves.

I'm keeping things flexible for now, so while there aren't any workshops scheduled at the moment, I wouldn't rule out a pop-up class if the opportunity feels right!

We’ll be designing cascading charms - turning simple symbols into a ready-to-frame artwork (plus a bookmark), using watercolour, ink, and a touch of shimmer.

All materials are provided for this relaxing, beginner-friendly evening with plenty of guidance along the way.

Whether you’ve painted with me before or you’re just getting started, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a calm, welcoming space.

Join me for a relaxed evening of painting as we explore a quiet medieval doorway - tucked away somewhere in the world, waiting to be discovered.

This class is all about slowing down, noticing details, and enjoying the process. We’ll work in our art journals, with gentle guidance every step of the way.

🎨 Flow with Watercolours - A Beginner Workshop Series

Take a midweek pause and spend a few peaceful evenings exploring watercolour.

Over three relaxed sessions, we’ll practice simple brush techniques, explore colour, and create finished paintings together - step by step. No drawing skills or prior experience required.

This workshop was first offered last fall and quickly filled - I’m so happy to bring it back for spring.

Watercolour has a way of slowing everything down. It’s less about perfection and more about letting colour and water do their quiet magic.

I’m excited to offer two single-session Pen & Posy watercolour workshops this October at the Peggy Hill Team Community Centre in Barrie!

These relaxed classes are perfect for anyone with a creative streak - especially those who already enjoy drawing or doodling and want to explore the beauty of watercolour.

All art materials are provided for use during class, and select supplies (brushes, paints, and paper) will be available for purchase if you’d like to continue painting at home.
