I harvested my second turkey early this morning 🦃. It was a beautiful morning and it was such a privilege to sit and watch these turkeys fly down, interact, and I even saw a coyote. At first there was only a small Jake (young male) but after 40 minutes, I heard another male gobble and he stayed far away for some time. Eventually he came right in front of me at a perfect angle for a clean shot. I butchered the meat and we have two wild turkeys in the freezer! 🦃

Today we celebrate Maelle’s first birthday! She was an answer to many prayers and came early as a Christmas gift last year.

The joy she has brought us is immeasurable. Her laugh is contagious to everyone around her.

There is nothing better than spending time with her everyday. We are thankful for her and pray for many more good, healthy, years!

First day back at “school”. I return to do more training in emergency medicine through the program at RVH Barrie.

I get to do 2 months of Emergency medicine then two weeks of anesthesia and 2 weeks of ICU.
