From WKFW to NYFW | Congratulations to CARLEY , our Official SCI PH Model for New York Fashion Week 2026 Spring/Summer Collection 🤎🧡

Tansi! Carley nitisinihkâson. Tataskweyak Cree Nation oschi nina Hello! My name is Carley. I'm from Tataskweyak Cree Nation. Also known as Split Lake. I come from a Swampy Cree background. I'm 19 years old. I grew up in my reserve, until recently since moving to Winnipeg.

I started making my way into the modeling industry when I was 18. I auditioned for the Canadian Modeling and Talent convention (CMTC) and received a call back. Which where I can possibly get scouted by a modelling agency and gain valuable experience within the modelling world.

Along with that WKFW was doing casting calls so I took the opportunity and participated in the casting call. Then became an official model for SCl. I am going to New York to walk in my first New York Fashion Week Runway Show for SCI PH Summer / Spring Collections .

I was encouraged to start modelling by numerous people. With their beliefs and support I decided to take a chance.

I am currently pursuing Environmental Science at the University of Manitoba where I'm a full time student. Where my goal is to get a degree in Environmental Science, with hopes to continue my education moving onto Law.

I'm interested in WKFW because I see it as an opportunity to gain exposure. To be surrounded by like minded youth. I believe WKFW is a great step as I make my way into modelling. As Indigenous fashion is growing I'd like to be a part of that also.

SCI has pushed me out of my comfort zone. I gained more self confidence. They've taught me how to walk, and perfect my poses. Thanks to my mentors I'm making my way up there. Preparing me for SCI International Show! I hope there are more modelling opportunities in my future.

My biggest goal is to represent my community. To show the youth that there are more opportunities outside of the reserve. With every step I take I carry my roots, teachings and my community.

We discovered Carley during the WKFW 2026 Bloom in the Heart of Canada.

From WKFW 2026 to NYFW | Congratulations to ROSIE , our Official SCI PH Model for New York Fashion Week 2026 Spring/Summer Collection 🤎🧡

Hello, Tansi! My name is Rosie Beardy, and I am 8 years old. I am a proud Indigenous Cree girl from the Pimicikamak Cree Nation, also known as Cross Lake, Manitoba, and I am currently living in Winnipeg.

I take great pride in my culture and love participating in powwow dancing. I dance in three styles: Jingle, Fancy, and Hoop. Last year, I danced at over 15 powwows across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, performing in front of hundreds of people. This experience has greatly boosted my confidence and self-esteem.

My hobbies and interests include creative activities such as drawing, painting, sewing, and baking. I also enjoy participating in powwow clubs, gymnastics, and Muay Thai every week to stay active and healthy.

I am passionate about pursuing my dreams and learning new things. I am thrilled and grateful to be involved in modeling through SCI. Fashion and dressing up have always been among my favorite things. Currently, three models from my home community are part of SCI, including Terilyn and Carylise Monias, who have been great inspirations to me. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to SCI for this incredible opportunity, and I am so excited for this new learning journey.

My name is Teryn Carylise, but you can call me Carylise. I am a 14 year old Indigenous Cree girl from a community north of Manitoba called Cross Lake Pimicikamak Cree Nation. This school year I am enrolled in grade 8, I love cross country running , water sports such as canoeing and also baseball.

I am very proud of my culture and in my journey with the modeling industry I started when I was 11 years old and I absolutely love everything about it! In my hometown I only have access to to online auditions and training for my modelling career, it has been a really persistent experience with travelling many miles just to get to the runway shows and training and travelling back home. I love the support I have received from my family friends and my community and also from SCI.

When I was 10 years old I was bullied up to 11 years old, I decided to let my mother aware of my experiences with bullies, and I am very grateful that I chose to express my feelings from being bullied because I know it is hard to face these bullies but we did it in a positive way and today I encourage anyone who is facing bullying to let anyone you trust to let your parents know and your friends. I feel way more confident and more comfortable sharing my feelings my experiences with this issue and I want to let anyone know you can overcome anything when you put yourself first!

I cannot begin to express my deepest gratitude for SCI giving me these many opportunities with walking on the biggest runway stages of the world. They have supported my path with their incredible dedication for training and commitment towards a successful event, each event I have been with SCI has been wonderful and surreal for me to experience coming from a small community.

“We all meet for a reason” we crossed each other path because I believe we carry the same ambitions and goals in life!

Mackenzie Faith is an 11-year-old, Winnipeg-born and raised young dreamer whose light shines in everything she does. Currently in Grade 5 at a French immersion school, she is known for her focus, curiosity, and kind heart. Her teachers and friends admire not only her strong problem-solving skills, but also her generosity and quiet confidence.

Mackenzie dreams of becoming a painter one day, inspired by her father, Maestro Manaco, who nurtures her creativity and encourages her to explore her passion. Through drawing and painting, she finds her voice—playing with colors, experimenting with techniques, and expressing emotions in ways words sometimes cannot. Her love for anime adds another layer to her imagination, influencing her storytelling, character design, and artistic style.

Beyond art, Mackenzie is also an active member of her school choir. Music brings her joy and teaches her harmony, rhythm, and the beauty of working together as one.

At such a young age, she is already learning valuable life lessons. With guidance from her parents, Mackenzie is developing a sense of responsibility by understanding the value of earning and managing money—showing maturity beyond her years.

In 2024, Mackenzie stepped into a new chapter by joining Winnipeg Kids Fashion Week (WKFW). Since then, she has embraced the experience with excitement and courage, and this year marks her third season on the runway. With the full support of her parents, she continues to grow through every step of this journey.

Through WKFW, Mackenzie is not just walking the runway she is discovering herself. Each moment on stage builds her confidence, helping her believe more in who she is. The experience gently challenges her to face her insecurities, teaching her resilience, patience, and discipline. At such a young age, Haliah has already made her mark in the modeling world, shining on the runway and embracing every moment of her journey. With a natural presence in front of the camera, she brings inspiration, confidence, and enthusiasm to every opportunity that comes her way.

Beyond modeling, Haliah is a dedicated Grade 7 student. She leads an active and well-rounded lifestyle, enjoying ballet, hip-hop, running, soccer and volleyball. She believes that participating in these activities helps her stay fit, focused, and motivated.

In her spare time, Haliah loves spending quality moments with her mom, brother, extended family, and her beloved pet, Mia. Reflecting on her journey, Haliah shares, “I have my angel watching over me, and I want to make him proud.”

At just 12 years old, Myrielle of Winnipeg, Manitoba is already emerging as a vibrant young talent in the worlds of dance, modeling, and pageantry. The youngest of three sisters, she carries a joyful spirit that naturally draws people in, and her positive energy lights up every room she enters.

A dedicated dancer since the age of three, Myrielle has trained extensively in hip hop, tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theatre. Her commitment to her craft has earned her multiple awards and recognition for both her technique and her expressive artistry. In 2022, she stepped into the world of pageantry, where she quickly became known for her confidence, poise, and ability to shine onstage. Her modeling journey began in 2024 at SCI, where she discovered a deep love for fashion and runway. One of her most inspiring experiences has been watching New York Fashion Week, fueling her dreams and expanding her creative vision.

Outside of performing, Myrielle is a budding musician who enjoys exploring different instruments and expressing herself through music. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and cherished pets, grounding her busy life with the people and moments that matter most.

What truly sets Myrielle apart is her compassion. She is an active volunteer with Winnipeg Harvest and helps organize food drives to support those experiencing homelessness. Her heart for service reflects a maturity beyond her years and a genuine desire to uplift her community.
