Land Air or Water? 🌊🌿 The children explored where different animals live, carefully placing each one on the land, air or in the water. A hands-on geography lesson filled with curiosity, conversation, and learning together.

A moment of concentration with the red knobless cylinders ❤️ The children explore how the cylinders differ in height and diameter, building visual discrimination, coordination, and problem-solving as they work. Each careful choice helps them learn through their hands.

This doesn’t mean we should never help. It means giving a child time and space to try when they’re ready. When a child sweeps, pours, or cares for their classroom, they’re practicing coordination, concentration, and independence.

Sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is prepare the tools, offer encouragement, and let them discover, “I can do it myself.” 💛

Our peaceful, beautiful classroom 🌿💐 It made me smile when one of the children noticed the flowers I brought in and said they were just so cute. It’s the little things that make our classroom feel so special. 💛
