Back to school tomorrow! 🚌📚
A quick reminder to all families: please do not walk between parked school buses or cross through the bus lane during drop-off or pick-up.
Please use the designated crossing areas and crossing guards to help keep everyone safe. Our Gators are always watching and learning from us let’s lead by example and show them how to make safe choices around our school buses and roadways.

BACK TO SCHOOL = LABEL EVERYTHING!

We’re excited to offer TWO great options for personalized labels, and the best part is that both Mabel’s Labels AND Oliver’s Labels fundraise for our school!

So whether you have a favourite company, a favourite style, or just want to make sure your child’s stuff makes its way home the choice is yours!

Every year, personalized labels help return countless lost water bottles, lunch containers, shoes, clothing, school supplies and other belongings to their rightful owners. Unfortunately, we also see SO much left unclaimed in our school’s Lost & Found that eventually makes its way to our local sharing centre.

We highly recommend labeling anything that leaves the house especially removable clothing and everyday school belongings!

Mabel’s Labels
Visit campaigns.mabelslabels.com and search for our organization to shop.

Oliver’s Labels
Visit http://www.oliverslabels.com/AVPSSchool to order directly through our school fundraiser.

Whichever company you choose, your purchase helps support our school!

Let’s start the school year with fewer lost items, more returned belongings, and a little less “Whose jacket is this?”

Label it before they lose it!

As another school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible bus drivers who safely transport our students to and from school each day.

For many of our drivers, this year marks the end of their time serving the AVPS community. Over the years, you have been much more than drivers you have been the first smile of the morning, a familiar face at the end of the day, and an important part of our students' daily lives.

Thank you for your dedication, patience, kindness, and commitment to keeping our children safe. Rain, snow, sunshine, and everything in between, you have shown up each day ready to care for the students and families of our community.

Your impact reaches far beyond the bus ride, and we are truly grateful for all you have done for AVPS over the years.

From all of us at AVPS, thank you, and we wish you all the very best in your next chapter. 🚌💚💛
