Amherstview Public School Advisory Council Welcome to AVPS School Advisory Council (SAC) page. The SAC meeting meets monthly. Let's work together to create a supportive and constructive space.

Join us as we support our kids' education, enhance the school community, and fundraise for exciting school improvements. This page is intended to allow the SAC to connect to the parents and guardians of students at Amherstview Public School. At each meeting members from Administration provide an update on school related activities. Council members identify topics of interest and provide

discussion around upcoming or future events. We are a dedicated team of volunteers working together to enhance the children's educational experience. This page is run by SAC members only and is for information sharing and fostering collaboration and community engagement. We value open communication but this page is not intended for discussing personal matters or airing complaints about the school. Check the page for updates on SAC events, fundraisers, and news!

📖 Wednesday: 9:30am–3:30pm
📖 Thursday: 9:30am–6:30pm
📖 Friday: 9:30am–3:30pm

We're so excited to share that our Scholastic Book Fair is happening next week!

This is always a favourite event for our students-an opportunity to explore new books, build a love of reading, and choose stories they're excited to bring home.

Every purchase also helps support our school and classrooms.

Special Reminder:
