Boating Course starting Jan 9, 2024. Early bird pricing until Dec 12, 2023.

We are running a B2/B3 Basic Boating handling and Navigation course starting on Jan 9, 2024.

This course goes beyond the min TC PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator Card) course and will prepare you adequately for all boating situations. This is especially important for boaters who are operating in tidal waters with currents.

This 12 week course is offered self-study online with weekly virtual meetings to answer questions on course content covered and provide enhanced learning. Weekly meetings will be every Tues 7pm-9pm. If there is student interest we can arrange to have in-person weekly meetings every other Tues to provide a more personal learning experience - Location would be in the Abbotsford area. Pre-requisites: none - PCOC is recommended.

The course is available 24/7 including all links to allow students to self-pace themselves with the material.

Registration and pricing is available via the link. Discounted pricing is available to members at a yearly cost of only $60. There are many benefits from becoming a member including insurance and vendor discounts.

Register now before Dec 12, 2023 to save even more.

Canadian Boating - Canadian Valley Power Squadron is a non-profit organization and all instructors provide instruction for free.
Whether you own a small runabout, or a 40 ft sailing yacht this advanced course will give you the knowledge to operate safety on the water.
