Dr. Gail gave her talk on Faiya Taiga today at Book Week in Belize City! It was attended by both high school and primary school youths. Mr Ian Gibson talked about illustrating Faiya Taiga and creating the look of the character. The Leo Bradley Library Children's Committee members created a skit based on the Faiya Taiga story! Then they sang/danced to a short version of the Song! It was amazing. Check our YouTube Channel for that. Ms Sharena Smith, who is illustrating Book 6 of Faiya Taiga (the Fire Poem), came to visit! 😁🥰

Wednesday evening program included a jazz band, wine, and spending time together for all at the House of Culture in Belize City!

Faiya Taiga is at Book Week & Fair in Belize City! Wednesday was a wonderful day with Minister Ramon Cervantes giving a keynote speech, and lots of dignitaries were there. Students came to hear panel programs and browse books! 😁🥰🔥🐾
