We are excited to announce the launch of our 1st Annual Summer Program for Kids Ages 8–16, an initiative dedicated to building environmental awareness, leadership, and stewardship among young people through hands-on learning about Belize’s marine and coastal ecosystems.
Our program aims to inspire & educate youth to become future environmental leaders by fostering knowledge, appreciation, and responsibility for protecting our oceans, coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds & wildlife. Through engaging educational experiences and community-based activities, we hope to create a new generation of environmental ambassadors who will champion conservation efforts throughout Belize.
Under our theme, “Learn, Explore, Protect”; participants will gain valuable knowledge, life skills & practical conservation experience while developing a lifelong appreciation for the natural environment.
To make this program a success as it will be completely FREE, we respectfully seek your support and partnership. Contributions may include:
* Educational materials and supplies
* Refreshments and meals for participants
* Transportation assistance
* Volunteer expertise and guest speakers
* Environmental equipment and field gear
* Venue space for activities and presentations
* Prizes, certificates, and recognition awards
* Any other resources that can help enhance the program experience
