We would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Noemi Yacab for the amazing donation given to our Special Education class. Ghislaine Ojeda our students are so in love with Super Mario Lego land.Thanks to Sergio and intern from Mopan Technical Highschool for constructing the Lego city. Now our students can enjoy playing it.

Last week we had the most wonderful group join us from Concordia University Wisconsin! SLP, OT, PT, and SPED students worked together to provided therapies for our class. We could not be more thankful! Watching the smiles on our students faces and the dedication from CUW students and faculty brought us so much joy. THANK YOU will never be enough. 🤍

We loved having you all help us! Watching our students connect with your group and light up each day was priceless 🥰

Today is the last day to a great month of awareness, "Autism Acceptance Month".

To close this month MCPS Special Education and MCPS Functional Pre school organized a fun wet event " Fun Under the sun" to celebrate our Neurodiversity students.

It was a day rich with fun and laughter. A huge thank you Blazeful Vibes for the Cupcakes and Soliany Rentals for the pool and cotton candy. These two small business have been supporting our students a lot. They always have our students in their thoughts.
