It is with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss that the students and staff of United Evergreen Primary School mourn the death of a dynamic, intelligent little girl. Jahmia Martinez made her mark and left imprints on the hearts of her teachers and classmates. We extend deepest condolences to her family whose unimaginable grief is felt. May you be comforted knowing that our little Jahmia is flying with the heavenly angels and God our Father.

Happy New Year Greetings Parents/ Guardians!

We welcome you and our students to the new year and the continuation of the second term through distance learning. Despite the challenges faced, by God's grace and with the school, students and parents fulfilling our roles, we shall overcome.

This term and for as long as distance learning continues, our aim is to provide students with the most meaningful and interactive learning experience through both synchronous (live, online teaching facilitated by teacher) and asynchronous (students work on assignments and activities on their own) sessions. Teachers will be using platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet or Whatsapp to meet with students who may also be given independent work in the form of worksheets, hands- on activities, use of Google classroom, Whatsapp videos/ recordings etc.

In an effort to facilitate the effectiveness and success of our endeavor, we implore you the parents to communicate with your child's teacher in order to inform them of which device your child has available and come to a consensus on the best time for the live sessions. We are aware that not everyone may be privileged to have a computer or a tablet, so we are making accommodations to use a phone where necessary and to provide printed copies of the home-based learning for those who need.

We look forward to your usual support and cooperation as we continue to navigate our way forward.

Dear Parents,
We trust that you are staying safe and taking all necessary precautions to keep Covid away from your family! We continue to pray for those who have been affected thus far.
Please note that the final two weeks distance learning package for 2020 will be distributed on Monday, November 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p. m. Drop off date for the packages will be on Monday, December 14, when teachers will be giving feedback on students' performance for the first term.
Note that teachers will be at school only on Mondays, as mandated by MOE, until we end off the year on December 18 . Thanks for your continued support and cooperation. God bless!

Good Evening Parents,
As you all have heard by now, the re-opening of schools has been delayed. In light of this, orientation / visit by parents to the classrooms is also postponed until further notice. The teachers will be in contact with you through the information you provided.

Thanks to all those who showed up to our meetings. Your presence and suggestions have been of great value to us at United Evergreen.
