Congratulations to fisher Darwin Francis on his impressive catch of yellowfin tuna! 🎣🐟

This outstanding catch is another demonstration of how the Government’s Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) Programme is helping our local fishers access and catch more oceanic pelagic species, including yellowfin tuna.

Special recognition must also be given to Hon. Samal Duggins, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources, for his continued leadership and support of the FAD Programme and the development of our fisheries sector. His commitment to investing in our fishers and expanding opportunities at sea is helping to strengthen local fish production, fisher livelihoods and our nation’s food security.

Congratulations again, Darwin—an impressive catch and another win for our fishing industry! 🇰🇳🐟🎣
