Swaneng Hill Senior Secondary School, located in Serowe, Botswana, holds a unique place in the country’s educational history. It was founded on 11 February 1963 by Patrick van Rensburg, a South African anti-apartheid activist who had moved to the then Bechuanaland Protectorate in 1962.

Today, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Ms. Halle Preneta, who has spent the past six months with us at Swaneng Hill School through the Fullbright Program from the USA.
Halle, thank you for sharing your time, knowledge, skills, and beautiful spirit with our school community. Your presence has made a meaningful impact on our learners, staff, and the wider Swaneng Hill family.

We truly appreciate the memories, experiences, and lessons you have shared with us. While we are sad to see you go, we are grateful for the six wonderful months we had together.

Today, we celebrated the remarkable contribution of Ms. Halle Prenata, who has been attached to Swaneng Hill school through the American Embassy.

Working alongside our English Department and School Library, Ms. Prenata dedicated her time to supporting our students’ learning needs through meaningful projects and initiatives. We are grateful for the knowledge, passion, and kindness she shared during her time with us.

As we bid her farewell, we thank her for the lasting impact she has made on our school community and wish her every success in her future endeavors.
