Today, 24 April 2026, our Standard 6 learners from Delta Waters International School had an enriching educational excursion to the Maun High Court.

The visit provided learners with a valuable opportunity to experience the judiciary system of Botswana firsthand, deepening their understanding of court procedures, the rule of law, and the importance of justice in our society.

It was an insightful and memorable learning experience that brought classroom concepts to life!

The founder of Lekgotla la Setswana, Mr Motshidiemang, accompanied by Mrs Maule, visited Delta Waters International School last week to brief students on the upcoming awards ceremony scheduled for 29 May at Maun Senior Secondary School.

This visit follows the outstanding achievement of Anesiwe Mokgadi, a Form 4 student, who secured a top three position in last year’s Setswana narrative writing competition.

Winners of the competition will receive cash prizes—P1500 for first place, P1000 for second place, and P700 for third place—as well as sponsored publication of their short stories. Notably, the authors will retain full rights to their published work.

Congratulations to Anesiwe Mokgadi and Delta Waters International School on this commendable achievement.

Beyond the classroom and textbooks, there is a world of colour and expression where our students truly shine. šŸŽØāœØ

At Delta Waters International School, we believe that Art is more than just a subject—it is a space where students can express themselves, explore their ideas, and build confidence. It allows them to turn a blank canvas into something meaningful and unique.

Seeing the creativity and talent within our learners reminds us that education goes beyond books. We aim not only to teach, but to inspire—and to give our students opportunities to create and grow.

Take a look at some of the wonderful work from our talented young artists!

On 16 March 2026, a scheduled collaborative lesson brought together learners from Delta Waters International School in Maun and Keelham Primary School in Bradford.

Mr. Alfigio Ganyani led the engaging session, guiding Year 5 students through an interactive lesson on Earth’s rotation and revolution. The lesson forms part of an ongoing collaboration between Delta Waters and five primary schools in Bradford, namely: Keelham Primary School, Stocks Lane Primary School, Home Farm Primary School, Wibsey Primary School, and Russell Hall Primary School.

These continuous virtual exchanges highlight the power of global learning partnerships. Through this initiative, learners are able to transcend geographical boundaries—connecting Botswana and Bradford in a matter of seconds—while enriching their understanding through shared experiences -through the Smart board.

We are proud of this initiative, as it not only enhances academic learning but also fosters global awareness, cultural exchange, and collaboration among young learners. Thanks to SMART Technologies for this.

Our high schoolers are seeing the world—and their curriculum—in high definition today! From analyzing intricate details under micro-viewers to collaborating on the smart board, the energy in the classroom is electric.
While our students usually stick to the classic school look, today you’ll notice a shift to a more vibrant, heart-centered color palette. We’ve traded our standard uniforms for a day of personal expression to honor Valentine’s Day, proving that academic focus looks great in every shade of red and pink.
Why we love this hands-on approach:
* Interactive Learning: Using smart boards to bridge the gap between theory and digital application.
* Precision Skills: Getting up close with micro-viewers to spark scientific curiosity.
* Professional Flair: Even on a "dress-down" day, our students are showing up ready to lead and innovate.
Whether it’s the fine details of a specimen or the big picture of a business case, we’re loving the "specs" and the "spectacle" of today’s lessons!
