Archives, manuscripts and unique collections within the University of Botswana’s Library are our country’s valuable, but often fragile heritage. Many of the materials in our care are intrinsically weak or rare and there is a risk of damage whenever they are used or handled. BDSC materials are a heritage collection, to be retained for posterity, so in order to protect them, researchers are requested to read and acknowledge some commonsense rules while consulting our collections:
