Today was a momentous day of celebration and milestone transformation at Tlogatloga Junior Secondary School! 🎓✨ As our school celebrates its 30th Anniversary, we are not just looking back at our history—we are actively redefining our academic identity and raising the bar for excellence!

Our students officially received their Beyond Success certificates of completion amidst loud cheers and applause from their proud classmates! 👏🎉

🏆A Global Standard of Leadership

The prestigious certificates were presented by Mr. Serame, Manager of Standard Chartered Bank Botswana (Airport Junction Branch, Gaborone). Through an incredible partnership between Standard Chartered Botswana and EQUIP Botswana- Beyond Success, our students were taken through the world-renowned John C. Maxwell leadership methodology.

Speaking to the student body, Mr. Serame highlighted just how special this milestone is:

"You are already steps ahead! The very same training you have just completed is the same high-level development held by university students and corporate bank employees!"

Adding to the global perspective, Mrs. Maunze, Head of the Equip Botswana - Beyond Success program, shared an inspiring look into her own personal journey while unpacking the program for students who haven't yet participated. She reminded our graduates that they are part of a massive movement:

"As we speak today, this exact program is being delivered in the UK to Land Rover employees!" 🇬🇧🚗

Today wasn’t just another school assembly at Tlogatloga Junior Secondary School—it was a powerful moment of transformation, validation, and profound pride for the entire school community.

When His Honour the Vice President of Botswana paid an unannounced visit to the campus, he candidly shared what was originally on his heart. Given the general perception and societal concerns around discipline in junior secondary schools, he admitted he came fully prepared to give a stern talk on respect, discipline, and conduct.

However, Tlogatloga JSS completely flipped the script.

From the moment the Vice President set foot on the grounds, he was met not with disorder, but with remarkable poise, warmth, exemplary order, and deep-rooted *Botho*.

"I was prepared to tell you that you must be respectful,"* the Vice President shared with the assembly. *"Instead, I am forced to tell you that you ARE respectful—and my message today is simple: Keep it up!"
