Today, Honourable Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Noah Salakae, officiated the 4th MVA Fund Safe Mobility Challenge 2026 as a chief walker, reinforcing the urgent call to protect lives on our roads. In his keynote address, he highlighted that road safety is a shared responsibility and stressed the need to safeguard vulnerable road users including pedestrians, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities who continue to be most affected by road traffic accidents.
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund, alongside its valued stakeholders and partners, extends heartfelt appreciation to everyone who took part in making the 4th Annual Safety Mobility Challenge in Palapye. Your dedication, energy, and commitment were critical in amplifying the road safety message as a shared responsibility, reminding us that every life matter, every journey matters, and every road user deserves to arrive safely at their destination.
Together, we are not only raising awareness but also driving meaningful change, encouraging safer behaviours, influencing responsible road use, and fostering a culture where every road user can move with accountability, respect and safety.
Let us continue to carry this momentum forward and keep the vision alive. Because when we choose to be seen and stay safe, we protect what matters most, life.
