I had just turned 13 when I overheard someone saying gay people were promiscuous and they only cared about S*X. That, too, made me think that I couldn't be gay because I loved God and that wasn't how I felt at all . And I turned 15 , I read an article in newspaper that said that g**s and le****ns wanted to close all the churches and change Christian values . I felt that article was not talking to me because I regularly attended church and whole heartedly embrace Christian values.

By the time I was 16 years old , I could not lie to my self anymore. The day came when I had to admit to myself that I was only attracted to me . The thought of being with a woman felt unnatural to me. I knew then that I was a gay . Being gay itself did not bother me . It was the thought that people from the church would judge me if I came out that caused me so much pain.📷😥📷😴

From the outside , I was a normal teenager who enjoyed spending time with family and friends , and regularly attended church . But I was dying inside because I felt alone . I couldn't share my feelings with anyone because of fear of rejection . I have now accepted my true identity regardless of what people think
