Meet Onkabetse Manthe A.K.A DJ Onks
He is the DJ who developed his own mobile audio selector (mixer) . He started working on his idea on 2011 with just 2 phones to mix songs, but now he plays music simultaneously using a software installed in his smart phone.

"I always had a passion for music and the surprising fact about this is that I have never studied any technology at school. I became a DJ and I managed to buy my own sound equipment so I acquired the necessary experience,” he said. He added that as he came across sound problems in his profession, he was forced to fix everything for himself. He built the unit from a 120 x 70 mm black-coated metal box specifically designed to fit the unique needs of Android users.The advantages of the unit is that the unit does not need to be plugged into the main power supply. DJ Onks has now established a company called Audio Sounds Pty Ltd to push for his selector to be market-ready.
