Our I AM ENOUGH™ Workshop for Boys included a practical Financial Literacy session facilitated by Otisitswe, introducing the boys to money management from an early age.

She took them through earning, budgeting, saving and investing, the 50:30:20 principle, paying yourself first, developing good money habits and protecting themselves from financial scams.

One message stood out: Financial literacy is not only about what you know. It is about what you do with what you know!

This past Saturday, we hosted our I AM ENOUGH™ Workshop for Boys, a day of learning, reflection and meaningful conversations about the young men they are becoming.

Facilitated by Mr Rona Letlhogile, the boys explored discipline, confidence, choices, education and planning for their future.

Drawing from his own Comrades Marathon journey, Mr Letlhogile shared a powerful lesson about discipline: discipline in one area of your life spills over into other areas. The habits you build, the commitment to keep going and the willingness to do the work even when it is difficult can shape how you approach school, relationships, work and your future.

He also reminded the boys that education gives you direction, but you must decide where you want to go.

A safe and empowering space where boys can speak, learn, reflect and grow.

Our next I AM ENOUGH™ Workshop for Boys is designed to help young men explore confidence, identity, values, emotional awareness, respectful relationships, personal boundaries and the kind of men they want to become.

Through guided conversations and interactive activities, participants will be encouraged to understand that strength is not only about being tough. It is also found in self-awareness, kindness, discipline, responsibility and the courage to express themselves.

Date: Saturday, 29 August 2026
Time: 9:00 am–4:00 pm
Age Group: 12–18 years
Venue: SmartKids Place, Partial, Gaborone
Fees: P580 per participant

The fee includes T-SHIRT, workshop materials, activities, refreshments, lunch and a certificate of participation.
