WHO IS EVANAH SERUMOLA ?

Currently a finalist pursuing Business and Entrepreneurship Development at the ongoing YALI-RLC SA Cohort 25 Hybrid leadership training in South Africa, we delve into knowing her a bit more.

Evanah Serumola is a pioneering leader in the fields of creativity, innovation, and technology in Botswana.

At 26 years old, Evanah a young lady from Semolale, holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education.

She also possesses a First Venture Certificate from Botswana Innovation Hub and is a certified graduate of the University of Botswana Business Accelerator Program.

Evanah is the founder and innovative Director of EduSmart previously known as Mega Minds Nation, an Edtech company that specializes in developing cutting-edge software solutions aimed at enhancing STEM efficiency and science enthusiasts engagement.

Under her leadership, the company has launched several successful products that have transformed the STEM Education landscape in Botswana.

Evanah spearheaded the development of a revolutionary hardwired I AM SMART board game that streamlines the STEM curriculum processes for learners in Botswana, South Africa and beyond, improving productivity and sustainability in the field.

Amongst many she also recently scooped position 3 at the 2023 Boost Up Competition in Kenya, Nairobi where she got recognition for the remarkable work she has accomplished in the STEM field.

Currently recognised for her outstanding work she also got the nomination for the 3rd edition of Women’s Awards Botswana under the category of Best Woman in Creativity, Innovation & Technology.

In addition Evanah achieved the first position in the business pitch with the Science board game at the University of Botswana business clinic.

Her remarkable achievements include being shortlisted for the Future Africa Challenge in the Science category for her innovative "I AM SMART Board Game."

In recognition, Evanah's work has earned her several accolades: Future Africa Leaders Awards Nominee: Nominated for Four consecutive years, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and innovation.

She holds certification in AI, its issues, and innovation from IBS America.

She authored a book titled "The Chronicles of Creativity." Evanah Serumola's dedication to excellence and her visionary approach to technology and creativity continue to inspire and drive positive change within the community and beyond.

In terms of community impact, Evanah is actively involved in mentoring young women in STEM fields, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed in a male-dominated industry.
