The Girls in ICT Day 2026 commemoration activities have officially come to an end, but the impact continues.
Orange Foundation Botswana, through Orange Digital Center, is proud to continue investing in community empowerment by bringing practical digital skills training to young girls in Borolong.
Through this initiative, we provided ICT training to both primary school learners and out-of-school girls, equipping them with essential digital knowledge and exposing them to opportunities within the technology space.
The programme was designed to inspire confidence, creativity and curiosity, while encouraging more girls to embrace technology and innovation as part of their future.
This work forms part of Orange Foundation Botswana’s broader commitment to digital inclusion, alongside ongoing initiatives that expand access to digital learning tools and skills in underserved communities.
At Orange Foundation Botswana, we believe that access to digital skills creates opportunities, transforms lives and helps build a more inclusive digital future for all.
Together, we continue to inspire, educate and connect communities through technology.

The Girls in ICT journey continues in Borolong. We spent an incredible session with primary school students who are now officially the community's newest tech experts.
We taught topics surrounding Robotics, Cybersecurity, Coding, and exploring AI. These students aren't just learning, they are creating their own digital solutions.
At Orange Botswana Foundation, we believe no community should be left behind in the digital transformation. We’re not just teaching tech; we’re nurturing the innovators and problem-solvers who will shape tomorrow’s digital landscape right here in Borolong!
