THE GREAT CHANGE, THE APPARENT DISTINCTION
CH 222 EXPLAINS
"The Godhead was stirred with pity for the race, and the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit gave Themselves to the working out of the plan of redemption. In order fully to carry out this plan, it was decided that Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, should give Himself an offering for sin. CH 222.2

THE CHANGE CAME HERE. THE APPARENT DISTINCTION WAS MADE. THIS MEANT THAT CHRIST BE A BEGOTTEN SON OF THE FATHER. HE WAS MADE IN THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF GOD.

"The Eternal Father, the unchangeable one, gave his only begotten Son, tore from his bosom Him who was made in the express image of his person, and sent him down to earth to reveal how greatly he loved mankind. RH July 9, 1895, par. 13

ANOTHER APPARENT DISTINCTION
AS A BEGOTTEN SUBJECT TO THE FATHER HE BECOMES A RECIPIENT.
NOTICE HOW HE RECEIVES LIFE FROM THE FATHER TO GIVE TO ALL CREATED BEINGS EVEN LUCIFER BEFORE THE FALL.

" All things Christ received from God, but He took to give. So in the heavenly courts, in His ministry for all created beings: through the beloved Son, the Father’s life flows out to all; through the Son it returns, in praise and joyous service, a tide of love, to the great Source of all. And thus through Christ the circuit of beneficence is complete, representing the character of the great Giver, the law of life. DA 21.2

John 5:26 KJV For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

HIS GLORY AND AUTHORITY OR POWER WAS GIVEN BY THE FATHER
"And coveting the glory with which the infinite Father had invested His Son, this prince of angels aspired to power that was the prerogative of Christ alone. PP 35.2

IN THIS SENSE IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD IS THE FATHER. IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS YOU WON'T BRING UP A CONTROVERSY AS TO THE FACT THAT THIS NEGATES CHRIST AS GOD.

TO THE TRINITARIAN

THERE ARE 3 PERSONS OF THE GODHEAD. THAT'S VERIFIED.

BUT WHY DOES THE BIBLE, ESPECIALLY THE NEW TESTAMENT CLEARLY STATE THAT THE FATHER IS "the only true God" THAT "BUT TO US THERE IS BUT ONE GOD, THE FATHER of whom are all things, and we in Him" 1 COR 8:6

THE TRINITARIAN WILL STATE THAT JESUS IS ALSO GOD, THAT TRUE, YES, AND THAT THE WORD LORD USED TO FOR JESUS AS IN 1 COR 8:6 ALSO SHOWS HIM AS GOD.

BUT WHY DID THE APOSTLE MAKE THIS APPARENT DISTINCTION AND IN SO MANY SEVERAL PASSAGES. ONE GOD, THE FATHER AND ONE LORD, JESUS and not that only... Paul goes further to impress the reader with the validity of the distinction

1Co 8:6 KJV But to us there is but one God, the Father, OF WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, AND WE IN HIM, AND ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, AND WE BY HIM.."

THE DISTINCTION IS UNDENIABLY CLEAR. BUT WHY OR HOW? AGAIN WE TURN TO THE REDEMPTION PLAN.

OF THE THREE MEMBERS OF THE GODHEAD, THE FATHER, IS THE ONLY ONE WHO DID NOT CHANGE IN FORM WHEN THE PLAN WAS STARTED. JESUS, WAS BEGOTTEN AND THE OTHER MEMBER BECAME WHAT YOU CAN CALL "A PURE SPIRIT" WITHOUT BODY OR PARTS (Luke 24:39)

THIS IS WHAT MAKES THE FATHER THE ONLY TRUE GOD OR THE ONE GOD OF THE BIBLE...CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE BIBLE DO NOT APPEAR AS GOD, THOUGH THEY ARE EACH GOD/DIVINE.

THEY, 3, WERE VERY GOD IN FORM, AND BECAUSE OF THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION, THEY HAD TO CHANGE TO CARRY THE FUNCTIONS ALLOTTED THEM.

AS THE FATHER DID NOT CHANGE IN FORM HE HAD HIS FORM OR PERSON VEILED SO AS TO BE INVISIBLE TO THE CREATURES THEY WERE ABOUT TO CREATE.

Christ is the only being in all the universe that could enter in to this light or rather into the purposes of God. The Father being invisible needed a mediator between god God and His creatures and in this case it was Michael, the mediator and the angels, the creatures.
The Holy Spirit is excluded among BEINGS as He is an intangible, formless person or being.

Christ As the Son of God, the word of God, the image of God "is truly God in infinity but not in personality"

When He became the Son he was no longer truly God. We can still call Him God, the Godhead/ divinity was still His own yet He was not God entirely.....Just like when He became man.

The Holy Spirit is has no FORM at all, His nature is a mystery and yet He as DIVINE AS GOD AND IS CALLED GOD.

AS THE BIBLE SAYS, THE FATHER IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD (JOHN 17:3) because of these reasons.

GOD IS WITHOUT BEGINNING OF DAYS. HE HAS LIFE UNDERIVED UNBORROWED AND ORIGINAL TO HIMSELF. IF CHRIST IS GOD THEN HE IS WITHOUT BEGINNING OF DAYS.

BUT THE NON-TRINITARIAN STATES THAT CHRIST WAS IN THE FATHER BEFORE HE WAS BORN JUST LIKE LEVI WAS IN THE LOINS OF ABRAHAM (HEB 7:5)

IF THIS IS THE CASE THEN CHRIST POSSESSES IMMORTALITY, WHICH IS THE LIFE OF GOD, BY VIRTUE OF THE FATHER, IT IS NOT ORIGINAL TO HIM. HE HAS IT AS DERIVED LIFE. THERE IS NO ESCAPING THIS.

THE FAMOUS VERSE FOR THE NON-TRINITARIAN IS JOHN 5:26 "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself" THIS HERE IS THE VERSE USED BY THE NON-TRINITARIAN TO SHOW THAT CHRIST IN HIMSELF, OR AS HIS OWN RIGHT, POSSESSES IMMORTALITY, THE LIFE OF GOD. BUT HIS ARGUMENT FALLS IN THAT THE VERSE PIN POINTS THAT THIS LIFE CHRIST RECEIVED OR WAS GIVEN BY THE FATHER TO HAVE IN HIMSELF. SO HE HAS IT BY VIRTUE OF THE FATHER, HENCE IT IS DERIVED AND ALSO NOT HIS TO BEGIN WITH. IT IS NOT LIFE, ORIGINAL.

In Christ is life, original, unborrowed, underived DA 530.3...THIS CLEARLY INDICATES THAT CHRIST IS GOD, IN CLEAR UNEQUIVOCAL TERMS. HE IS WITHOUT BEGINNING OF DAYS.

WHAT'S MY POINT? JOHN 5:26 EXPLAINS OR SHOWS A BEGINNING OF DAYS. THE NON-TRINITARIAN IS SPOT ON. CHRIST HAD A BEGINNING OF DAYS IN ETERNITY PAST AS THE SON OF GOD, AS MICHAEL, BEARING THE FORM OR APPEARANCE OF ANGELS. HE WAS STILL GOD BUT NOT IN FORM.

HE WAS BEGOTTEN TO BE, AS
Col 1:15 SAYS "the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"

HE WAS GOD (JOHN 1:1) STILL. YET HE WAS THE WORD OF GOD, THE REVELATION OF GOD, THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF GOD.

BEFORE THIS BEGINNING, HE WAS VERY GOD IN FORM, AND WAS INVOLVED IN THE PLANS OF CREATION AND THAT OF REDEMPTION WHICH BROUGHT A CHANGE IN THE GODHEAD'S FORMS. (1SM 250.1) HE WAS TRULY GOD IN INFINITY. BUT THEN HE gave Himself to the working out of the plan of redemption (CH 222.2) WHICH NECESSITATED A CHANGE IN FORM IN ORDER TO ACT THE ROLE OF THE SON OF GOD.

THE HOLY SPIRIT, THOUGH NOT CLEARLY DEFINED IN CLEAR DISTINCT TERMS, IS ALSO AN INDIVIDUAL PERSONAGE.

"The Holy Spirit has a personality, else He could not bear witness to our spirits and with our spirits that we are the children of God. He must also be a divine person, else He could not search out the secrets which lie hidden in the mind of God. “For what man knoweth the things of a man save the spirit of man, which is in him; even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” [1 Corinthians 2:11.] 21LtMs, Ms 20, 1906, par. 32

Christ, says the quote below, "is declared in the scriptures to be the Son of God"

There are 2/3 ideas out there. One says that this relation to the Father that from all eternity He has sustained was just in name only. He was God and because of the declaration to be an offering for sin, He could just as well bear that name of Son. In this case He was a metaphorical Son in heaven before becoming the real Son at the incarnation.

Some believe, like the early pioneers of the SDA Church, that he was for the first time begotten/ born to be the Son of God, meaning He at some point In eternity had a beginning.

SOME LIKE I DO BELIEVE THAT HE BECAME THE SON OF GOD BY BEING BEGOTTEN FROM ETERNITY PAST, AS AT HIS INCARNATION, TO HAVE A CHANGE IN FORM, to be Michael, having angelic form. HE WAS GOD, IN VERY FORM, WITHOUT BEGINNING OF DAYS. BUT BECAUSE OF THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION THAT CAME ABOUT IN THE HEAVENLY COUNCIL, THE 3 MEMBERS OF THE GODHEAD GAVE THEMSELVES TO THE WORKING OUT OF THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION. Reference is (Ch 222)

Christ became Michael, having His nature of God and angel mysteriously blended
The Holy Spirit became a "pure spirit" without flesh and bones being an entity of the Father and the Son. That how they have been and that's what they continue to be except for Christ who in principle takes the nature of the creatures He ministers to.

The pioneers taught this idea as truth. And now we hear sentiments concerning Proverbs 8 as metaphorical. Some of our top theologians are asking themselves the question in the post below. Is it possible?

If Christ as Preincarnate God can become begotten as human according to the Trinitarians then it is possible that in eternity past he could have been begotten to be an angel or like them.

My submission he was God, without beginning of days before He was begotten as the Son of God.

IS THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION CENTRAL TO THE 3 ANGELS' MSGS?
OF COURSE.

"The central theme of the Bible, the theme about which every other in the whole book clusters, is the redemption plan, the restoration in the human soul of the image of God. From the first intimation of hope in the sentence pronounced in Eden to that last glorious promise of the Revelation, “They shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads” (Revelation 22:4), the burden of every book and every passage of the Bible is the unfolding of this wondrous theme,—man’s uplifting,—the power of God, “which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57. Ed 125.2

THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION IS THE GOSPEL IN IT'S ENTIRETY. THE WHOLE PACKAGE, NOT SNIPPETS OF IT.

WHILE THE 3 ANGELS' MSGS ARE AN EXTRACT OF THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION ADDRESSING ONLY THE LAST DAYS OR END TIME PERIOD OF THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION.

THE 3 ANGELS' MSGS ARE THE LAST TRICKLINGS OF GOD'S MERCY ON EARTH. THE CUP IS ALMOST FULL.

This monotheism idea is problematic to the plan of redemption, self-sacrificing loveof God. I'm trying to find anything in the Bible that supports it. The Jews rejected Christ because of this very claim, which is against old testament revelations. 3 Persons 1 being idea is not there in the Bible.
1. The One God, is just one of the three, also known as the Father. He is thus in the plan of redemption
2. People confuse the begottenness of Christ with lack of pre-existance, which is not the case. The Bible teaches that Christ existed and acted on behalf of man on redemption issues, before creation of anything (ou'd do well to associate the word begotten with beginning).
The beginning in Genesis 1 is not the same as that in John 1. John 1 is a record of what happened in eternity, before anything was created, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (as we now know them), made a plan to CREATE and subsequently/possibly REDEEM. To this plan they submitted/gave themselves. Before this not much is revealed except that they all were called God having the same glory and of one mind. The first Father role that God played is that of blessing the Son, an act which made Christ a Son/Mediator of the covenant/The Word, Ephesians chapter 1-3.
3. The blessing, which to us is a promise given to Christ is the life of God, the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 4.

LESSONS FROM DANIEL 2

LESSON 1
God desired Nebuchadnezar could learn in Daniel 2, He taught him again in chapter 4:25.

“That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, TILL THOU KNOW THAT THE MOST HIGH RULETH IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN, and GIVETH it to whomsoever he will. ”
Daniel 4:25 KJV

LESSON 2
The statue is about "The KINGDOM OF MEN", not pagan kingdoms. The kingdom is given to pagan kingdoms yes.
But the clay is not a pagan kingdom. It is the Church that Christ established, it appears in its two states, Potter's clay and miry clay.

LESSON 3
Before the head:
The KINGDOM OF MEN, given to Babylon, was taken from Israel, Ezekiel 21:25-27. It belonged to him as part of the birthright for firstborn of nations, particularly given to Juda forfeited by Reuben (Genesis 49:3,4,10). This is that kingdom/dominion that was given to Adam at creation, the throne of David that is to be restored to him at the end by promise, Ezekiel 37:21-24, Jeremiah 3.

This lesson will prove a great deal of help in understanding the 2300 day prophecy (Dan 8:13,14), promising Israel's liberation on the day of atonement (Jeremiah 3:16-18).

LESSON 4
The dream is not so much about succession of kingdoms as it is a warning to Nebuchadnezar. Over a hundred years before God revealed the overturning of the kingdom to the Medes:
“17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew S***m and Gomorrah. ”
Isaiah 13:17, 19 KJV
And again to Jeremiah:
“11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple. 28 Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion. ”
Jeremiah 51:11, 28 KJV
Nebuchadnezar needs to see that this kingdom is not his but the Lord's and that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. The heavens do rule....“Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. ”
Daniel 4:27 KJV
Jeremiah 25:11,12

LESSON 4a
But Cyrus saw it pretty well:
“Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. ”

The materials and their properties are relative of kingdom and their characteristics. e.g

Clarifications 5&6
• Notice paid to the number of toes doesn't seem consistent, otherwise the two arms and legs would require the same. Though I like the idea that ten toes represent divisions of Rome.
• "The kingdom shall be devide", and "They shall not cleave one to another" have completely nothing to do with the ten tribes. It applies to materials/kingdoms, iron and clay ,that is to say Rome and Christianity (church and state)

LESSON 8
Considering the materials/kingdoms that took the universal kingdom, we see:
• Gold- Babylon
• Silver- Medes and Persians
• Brass- Greece
These are easier and straightforward, the kingdom is overturned the first time from Babylon to Medo-Persia, then from Medo-Persia to Greece according to Ezekiel 21:27.

LESSON 9
The third overturning happened from brass to Iron, from Greece to Rome that is. Let us realize that the Iron that began as Rome has transitions along the way that need to be considered.
• Rome divided
• Rome remodeled to become Europe
• Europe colonized the world
• Europe reestablished itself in a new land and reorganized.
From an empire to a republic and from being ruled by an emperor to a democratically elected leader, all of it is IRON kingdom. Consider the fourth beast of Daniel 7 and the dragon of Revelation 12.

LESSON 10
1. Iron,Potter's clay and miry clay

"And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided"
Daniel 2:41
This statement here is full of assurance. It is so heart warming to learn that from its introduction all the way to the end of time Potter's clay is present. Though some of it because of the strength of the Iron became miry.
So we have legs of iron, at the beginning of the feet clay is introduced in a firm state (Potter's clay), and after some time, before we get to the toes, part of the clay became mire. As long as the clay maintains its firmness it stays separate from iron. But the strength of the iron has an effect on the clay that makes it mire, and in its miry state it mixes with iron.

2. Divided, mixed
-The Iron and Potter's clay will never ever mix, they stay separate for ever.
-Not so with mire, it mixes (according to the dream)
-There is division in the feet followed by mixing. Then there is another separation in the toes and separation also.
-One of the two (iron or clay) is called the seed of men.

LESSON 11
Interpreting lesson 10
• Potter's Clay- Spiritual Israel (Isaiah 64:8, Jeremiah 18:6). This is that kingdom preached in the gospel by Christ (Mark 1:15-16). And the kingdom was linked to His coming as Shiloh(our peace) to Whom the gathering of the people shall be (Genesis 49:10, Ephesians 2:14). This is He would come "whose right it is and I will give it to Him" says the word of the LORD to the prophet, Ezekiel 21:27. Surely in the fullness of time the Son of God became the Son of David born of the woman, Revelation 12:5, restoring the sceptre back to Judah. But for this the man Christ Jesus reigns sitting on the throne of grace. It is the KINGDOM OF GRACE.
• The church was in a Potter's clay condition until a flood of the wicked (the seed of the serpent/dragon) came in with heathen teachings that resulted in a union between the seed of the woman and the seed of men. This is that falling away that Paul said would come, the first mixing of iron and clay. God calls this harlotry of Babylon.
• Again we see a reformation, followed by protest that brings a separation and an exodus to America to form a protestant government. Now we await the second and last mixing in the formation of the image of the first, by the daughters of Babylon, protestant churches and protestant (republican) governments.

LESSON 12
Stone kingdom
Potter's clay as we saw, is the woman of Revelation 12 made up of those whose hearts the grace of God is molding, the earthen vessels . Miry clay is the Babylon of Revelation 18 and her daughters.
Now, while the kingdom is in the hands of these two kingdoms, the God of heaven shall set-up a kingdom of glory.

The kingdom of grace (clay) that was to come in the accepted year of the Lord (Luke 4:19), day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2) was preached by Christ for three and half years before it began with the passover feast at the cross (Remember Exodus 12). This is that kingdom represented in the parable of the talents in Luke 19:11-27.
Similarly the kingdom of glory which begins at the close of probation is to be preached as the gospel of the kingdom Mathew 24:12, Revelation 14:6-12. The same work is represented by the parable of talents(Mathew 25:13-30), pointing to the work of the third angel.
The kingdom of glory begins when the work of Christ in the sanctuary is over. Then begins the great and terrible day of the Lord, time of His wrath. And He shall rule all nations with the rod of iron (Psalms 2:8-9, Revelation 19:15).
