‘Anyone who knows me could testify that singing is a major part of my life. I’ve been part of a world-renowned Choir and a good voice plus great technique were two major keys to being part of being a professional chorister. After leaving the choir school I stopped taking care of my voice and doing the necessary exercises to maintain a good singing technique.

Complacency was the name of the game from there on out. I remember when I had my first OPELA VOCALS COURSE lesson I could instantly feel the strain in my voice while attempting to perform the vocal exercises.

Every vocalist needs to know the proper ways of using their vocal chords to hit the right notes; switching between different registers such as from chest voice to head voice — or even the one that gives me the most problems pharyngeal voice.

It’s been over a month since my first lesson and I’ve had a couple of good remarks about the change in my singing; wether it be about the depth in my voice or the physical comfortability when attempting to sing notes in my higher range.

I view my vocal chords like any other muscle, if I want stronger and more controlled vocals I need to put in the time and investment into developing them! The OPELA VOCAL COURSE has really propelled me into that way of thinking.’
