We proudly celebrate Dadirai Mushayandebvu, an AWE participant and guest on our Mebala Business TV show at YTV.
As the founder of Skweeker Solutions, a social-geo security app, she aims to enhance Botswanaβs security sector with innovative technology.
During the Mebala event, Dadirai approached Lloyd Kusano, COO of Standard Chartered Bank Botswana, to be her mentor, and he agreed. This mentorship led to her nomination for the Forbes Africa 30 event, where she participated in the pitch battle featuring businesses from all walks of Africa and secured an investor who pledged $5,000 to her business.
Her dedication earned her a spot among the top three at the Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa Pitch Battle. Congratulations, Dadirai! Your journey is inspiringβ¨π₯³

ππΏ Happy World Environment Day! πΏπ
At Mebala, we're passionate about creating a sustainable future through innovative projects that embrace the beauty and functionality of recyclable materials.
Here's a glimpse:
Photo 1: Solar-Powered Roof: We installed solar panels on our roof to use the sun's energy. This helps us use less electricity and reduce our carbon footprint.
Photo 2: Green Kgotla: Our Green Kgotla is made from bottles and tyres. It's a great example of how we can reuse materials to create something useful and eco-friendly.
Photos 3 & 4: Recycled Classrooms: Our complex of classrooms is made from recycled materials. One of the highlights is a cracked window we repaired with a mosaic of colorful broken glass, creating beautiful patterns and a unique look.
Every step we take helps the planet. Let's keep finding ways to recycle and protect our environment.
