The volleyball matches in Gaborone kept everyone on edge, with all games decided by a narrow 1 or 2-point difference. At Phaklane, the Junior Girls claimed a hard-fought victory in 1 of their 8 games. Although the Junior Boys gave their all, they had faced tough competition and could not secure a win. Meanwhile, at Rainbow, both the Senior Boys and Girls claimed 1 victory each. It was a day of close matches and fierce determination. All teams demonstrated great sportsmanship and effort on the court.

October is about more than just pink ribbons—it’s a time to honor those who fight every day, remember those we’ve lost, and support one another in the journey toward a cure. To the fighters, survivors, and their loved ones: your strength, courage, and resilience inspire us all. This month and every month, let’s stand together, raise awareness, and keep hope alive.

On the 19th of October, the soccer girls had travelled to Gaborone to play against several schools at Rainbow. They had drawn against Legae in one of their matches. Unfortunately, the competition was too tough and the girls were outmatched, they had not secured any victories but they fought hard in every game. While the results were disappointing, the team learned important lessons and built a strong foundation for future success. We congratulate the girls for their efforts either way.

The ISAB volleyball tournament was hosted at JMS. 5 schools had participated for the girls and 6 schools for the boys.
The girls had an impressive run, coming 3rd overall. Their hard work and dedication had led them to win 2 out of 4 games. Makamu, one of our standout players, had earned the title of ‘Woman of the Tournament’ which was well-deserved, due to her exceptional performance and leadership on the court.
Meanwhile, the boys didn’t secure any wins, leading to their 6th position. Although they may have been in last place, there had been lots determination, teamwork and perseverance. They will further grow and learn from this great experience.‼️
