The Zhimoen team would like to thank all our supporters thus far for tuning into our program and spending your invaluable time with us. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our wonderful artists and performers - Namkha Lhamo, Lhamo Dukpa, Ugyen Panday, Pema Samdrup, Pema Lhamo, Jigme Drukpa, Leki Tshewang, Sonam Yangzom, Thuji Yonten, Phub Zam, Tandin Wangchuk (Misty Terrace), Kencho Wangdi, Tshering Dorji, and Sangay Wangmo.

We would like to thank Ms. Tshering Yangki from iBEST STUDIOS for her wonderful design and effort all the way.

In the meantime, the team is planning to bring some meaningful and exciting lineup of programs, please take care and stay safe from the by wearing a facemask, washing hands, maintaining physical distancing, using Druk Trace App, and staying healthy at all times.

The Team

Yesterday afternoon a thought popped up and by night it took form. A WhatsApp group was made, ideas were shared, video call took place and before we knew we became a team! Team ZHIMOEN!
There are no coincidences, everything is planned and when the heart and mind are in the right place, the speech is used to spread positivity and the body for being a symbol of right action, magic takes place.
By buddha's grace, our energies were aligned and we all believed in a common cause, that's to be of use in our own ways, especially in these trying times!
Our team members are Namkha Lhamo, Ugyen Panday, Lhamo Dukpa, Pema Samdrup, Pema Lhamo, Passang Tshering ( Chablop PaSsu) and Charmi Chheda.
Inspired by what His Majesty is doing for the country, the frontliners and all volunteers, we aspire to get creative and help many deal with the difficult times, from the safety of our homes!

Zhimoen is a word created by amalgamating 2 important thoughts!
That's exactly what Zhimoen is all about!
Peaceful prayers, through the arts!

ZHIMOEN (ZHI: ཞི་ MOEN: སྨོན་)
AN ART MOVEMENT OF PEACE AND PROSPERITY
ZHIMOEN is an initiative that uses arts as a tool to create a positive impact in the community, especially during COVID. Its initiated by a group of enthusiasts (artists and creative people) from Bhutan, who intent to help the people who are stressed, anxious, depressed by bringing powerful and healing forms of art. The arts used under this initiative will be across genres such as music, dance, drama, visual arts and so on. Eventually, different artists will be invited to be a part of this movement that’s non commercial in nature.
These are difficult times for all, but by saying it difficult we are running away from our own potential. The potential of the human mind, faith, positive thinking and arts is far beyond what we know and what we can imagine. Arts is a way we create unseen but lifelong changes in an individual and community. Art also helps in boosting the immunity of a person, art is transformative and powerful in nature. This initiative will only focus on the positive, our collective energy is to ensure we play catalyst and are channels of love and light.
Let’s bring our energy together and commit to this noble cause that will help all sentient beings. We may be a drop in the ocean, compare to what’s being done by His Majesty The King of Bhutan and the frontliners, but we can be soldiers in our own way, soldiers of arts!
