On this World Environment Day, the staff and students of Saling primary school have made a commitment to protect and safeguard the environment and surroundings. The school under directives of gewog administration has organized and carried out a cleaning campaign in and outside the school. The teachers have also create the awareness among the students on environmental conservation and civic responsibility.

On the auspicious and sacred 10th day of the 3rd month of the Bhutanese lunar calendar, observed as Zhabdrung Kuchhoe, the staff and students of Saling ps organized a solemn prayer ceremony to pay homage and heartfelt tribute to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, the great spiritual leader who laid the foundation for Bhutan’s unity and identity.
