Our King and Queen, along with their two young Princes—only nine and five years old—are working at the construction site of the new international airport in Gelephu Mindfulness City. This city will be the world’s first special area focused on mindfulness, and it is the biggest national project for Bhutan since the idea of Gross National Happiness.

The dirt on the young Princes’ clothes is not from playing—it shows they have been working seriously. Even at such a young age, our Gyalsey is already showing the values of a future King: responsibility, kindness, and vision.

That’s why we proudly say: we are true royalist. In Bhutan, our King and Queen don’t just give orders from far away—they lead with love, humility, and hard work. Respect is not just given because of their title—it is earned through their actions.

Being Bhutanese is a great honour—because of our King.

🖌️ THIGCHEN – A Solo Exhibition by Lopen Tshewang Tenzin.

For the first time, Lopen Tshewang Tenzin steps in to take the center stage of his own story.

After decades of guiding others as a teacher, a mentor and a master of Bhutanese art, he invites you to explore the foundation of sacred Bhutanese art—The Line Art.
Each stroke holds a prayer, bold yet delicate, precise yet deeply soulful.

This exhibition is a reflection of a journey shaped by discipline, devotion, and the whispers of tradition.

AB Gallery is passionately dedicated to crafting authentic and exquisite thangka paintings of the highest quality. Each piece is a masterpiece, reflecting timeless artistry and cultural richness.

Lantsha, developed in the 11th century, is an artistic graphic script used as a holy script. However, it is now declining among the youth. To preserve this tradition, the expertise of AB Gallery was utilized to train the NIZC group of trainees during their vacation. This initiative aims to ensure that Lantsha flourishes in the future.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 College of Zorig Chusum

The College of Zorig Chusum, Trashiyangtse announces the availability of the attached training (Regular) funded by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development.

Application deadline: 31st January 2025

Only interested applicants can apply using the given links.

In addition, after the completion of the course, all individuals are required to attend the Basic Entrepreneurship Course which will be conducted for 2 weeks in the college. The accommodation and a monthly stipend of Nu.3500 will be provided for the entire duration of the course.
