Reading with my little group (4–5 yrs) and pausing for quick questions in between… their solutions always surprise me. Simple, kind, and sometimes wiser than adults 💛

Points to remember when reading with children this age:
✅Giving them the option to choose the books they want to read to spark their interest
✅Ask small follow up questions during the story. Let them think and share. What they say really matters.
✅Keep the group size right. Some children like to quietly listen to the story and the conversations among their friends and teacher, while others like to speak and share more. Both are learning in their own way, and both benefit.

Many kids today are missing a nurturing environment where they can explore, build, and engage their senses through real life tasks. Instead, screens are replacing experiences that shape creativity, patience, and social skills.

This impact is real and deeply concerning. Technology isn’t the problem, but imbalance is.

Children need more life, not just more screen time.
