Bhutanese youth unite for Earth Hour Over one hundred youth representing various groups, including conservation organisations, government and non-government bodies, members of the Central Monastic Body, and college students, embarked on a meaningful hike from Druk School to Kuenselphodrang in Thimphu this past Saturday.

Tarayana Club is thrilled to announce that there is going to be digital poster competition to celebrate The Earth Hour on the theme "Tech for Green Tomorrow."
The Earth Hour is celebrated as a way for people to show their commitment to creating more sustainable future for our planet by atleast putting off the light for an hour.
It serves as a reminder that small individual actions, when taken collectively can have a significant impact on the planet.

Tarayana Club organized Interclass Khuru Competition. 12 Teams turned up for the competition. Four sets of game were played within teams resulting into 2 teams proceeding to finals. Drunk gi Saypoen and Second Year Teams played final, the next day.

Finals were played between Druk gi Saypoen and Second Year. A total of 30 rounds were played whereby at the end of 30th round, both team had same score so an extra 3 rounds were played. At 32nd round, Druk gi Saypoen hit the Kari and won the competition. A heartfelt congratulations to both the winners. Congratulation Mr. Tenzin for winning the highest Kari prize.

GCIT Tarayana Club organized a mega marathon on 6th May, 2023. Despite the rain, the event was a successful one. Tarayana club would like to thank every participant for turning up and making the event a successful one. A total of 150 runners participated in the race. A heartfelt congratulations to the winners and earnest gratitude to all the participants for trying their best till the end.
