Monday 25th November 2024, Jigme Losel Primary School held its Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the accomplishment of Class VI students of the Year 2024.

The Female staff of Jigme Losel Primary School wore Blue to show support for the International Anti-Bullying Week from 11th till 17th November.

Jigme Losel Primary School secured First Position in Inter-School Dance Competition (Primary School. Category) organised by Thimphu Thromde in commemoration of the 69th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck on November 11, 2024.

Jigme Losel Primary School offered prayers, zhabten, and butter lamps as he marks his 69th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. His Majestry's visionary leadership has gifted Bhutan with Gross National Happiness that continues to shape our lives and inspire future generations.

11th November is a day of profound significance in Bhutan, celebrated also as Constitution Day, Children’s Day, and Gross National Happiness Day. These three observances reflect just a few of His Majesty’s legacies: His boundless care for Bhutan’s youth, recognizing them as the torchbearers of our future; His gift of the Constitution, prioritizing the welfare of the people above all else; and His vision of Gross National Happiness, a compassionate development philosophy that continues to inspire us as well as the rest of world.

Today Jigme Losel Primary School hosted its annual STEM Exhibition, where students from different key stages showcased their innovative projects under the theme "Discovering tomorrow’s innovation! A journey through STEM wonders." The exhibition was a fantastic platform for students to apply scientific concepts, engage in problem-solving, and demonstrate creativity through various hands-on models and prototypes.

From simple models to advanced prototypes, the students amazed us with their skills and passion for STEM. Their projects reflected how STEM concepts can be applied to solve real-world problems and improve our daily lives.

A big thank you to all the participants, coordinators, and judges who made the exhibition a grand success!

Our student leaders are truly blessed and honoured to attend a day long training on "Ethical Leadership and Mindfulness" conducted by the school leaders of LungtenZampa MSS, Thimphu.
Such generosity and thoughtful act of kindness extended by the Principal and the management of LZMSS indicates the unconditional love and consideration they have towards a neighbouring school like us.
Our student leaders' morality is boosted and they are truly inspired and empowered to take up their responsibilities with great enthusiasm.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude and profuse thanks to the principal, Vice principal and the YVIA students of LZMSS for the wonderful gift. We remain truly indebted.
