Happy International Women's Day to all the phenomenal women 🫶❤️. Today, we celebrate our strength, resilience, and unwavering determination. We inspire one another daily with our achievements, compassion, and dedication. Let's continue to support and uplift each other, breaking barriers and creating a world where every woman can shine.
Around the world, the farmers produce enough food to feed everyone. Yet millions of people still go hungry everyday. According to FAO, 1.3 billion tons of food gets wasted every year, which is equivalent to 4 times the amount needed to feed 868 million hunger people. This ia a huge problem that we cannot ignore. The right enough to survive but enough to thrive. We need to ask ourselves why hunger still exists. Its not about how much food we grow but about how we share it. We must work to ensure that food is available, affordable and of good quality for everyone.
As students and future leaders from CNR, we have the power to make a difference. We can support local farmers, reduce food waste and raise awareness about food security issues. Together we can create a future where everyone has the chance to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
